  • Organization Strengths and Core Competencies

The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors, a volunteer Scientific Advisory Committee, volunteer management staff, and a volunteer fundraising staff. Please click here for a listing of these individuals and their qualifications.

The heart of the foundation, however, is a core group of committed volunteers with a proven track record of fundraising ability. In 2005, over a two-month period a team of 5 individuals organized a silent auction, which yielded $14,000 in net proceeds. Two other individuals organized a concert benefit with 3 bands, which raised $4,000 in net proceeds. These events required detailed planning including securing space, catering capabilities, alcohol licenses, and advertising on radio and in local papers. These monies combined with individual fundraising of 30 team members yielded $130,000 in 2005.
