Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation (TBBCF) from the involvement in fundraising events, to the day to day business based operations. Our all volunteer organization is totally committed to the TBBCF mission to provide critical funding to researchers in search of a cure for breast cancer. Our pledge is to direct 100% of total gross fundraising dollars toward breast cancer research.

Join us today. You will be working at a grass roots level with an unbelievable group of committed volunteers who have a proven track record in fundraising. Additionally, through complete transparency in the identification of a fundraising beneficiary, the TBBCF is able to directly translate dollars raised with impact. In other words, those who donate understand exactly how and to whom their donation dollars are directed.

The marquee walking marathon and every event organized throughout the year by the TBBCF would not be possible without the generosity and spirit of many dedicated volunteers. TBBCF was founded on the ideal of being volunteer driven and at the heart of every initiative at TBBCF. You can make a difference!

At TBBCF, volunteers engage in projects ranging from administrative support to planning and coordinating fundraising events like the 2008 Walk Across Southeastern Connecticut.

Currently, we are recruiting year round volunteers to assist us in the week-to-week administrative support of the Foundation. Following is a list of positions we are hoping to fill.

Administrative Support Resources

Data Entry Support:
Enter and verify data using an online data entry support tool. We are looking for detail-oriented volunteers on a weekly basis throughout the year. On the job training is available.

Office Administrative Support:
Perform a variety of office support activities using word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. Duties also include completing matching gift forms and some data entry. We are looking for detail-oriented volunteers on a weekly basis throughout the year. On the job training is available.

Bulk Mailing and Letter and Envelope Mail Merge Support:
Using Microsoft Word and Excel involved in all aspects of mass mail production including customized letters, envelopes, labels and catalog-type reports. We are looking for detailed-oriented volunteers on a weekly basis throughout the year. On the job training is available.
